My photos have been accepted at another website you may want to check out: www.socialdocumentary.com  There are a lot of great portfolios on it.  Also, www.GlobalPost.com published a photoessay a month ago.  That's an incredible website and you should check it out.

Presentations

I'll be giving two presentations in November: on Thursday, November 3rd I'll be part of a panel discussion at Bard College, Annandale-on-Hudson, NY.  It will be in the Preston Hall Theater, beginning at 6pm.  Then on Friday, I'll be at SUNY Orange, giving a lengthier presentation beginning at noon.  I don't have an exact location, unfortunately.

PUBLISHED PLAYS

Several of my plays have been published and if you'd like to take a look at them, four short ones were published by Heuer Publishers (www.hitplays.com) and four more by Brooklyn Publishers (www.brookpub.com)  Just search for my name.  "Louis' Lottery," a one-man play, was published by Playscripts and can be found on www.playscripts.com.  Finally, Heartland Publishers (www.heartlandplays.com) published "The Gavones of Philadelphia" earlier this year and and has just added "Headin' South" to their catalog.  You may read parts of these two plays at www.heartlandplays.com

PUBLISHED ARTICLES

My article about Iraqi refugees was published in Rochester Magazine's January/February 2011 issue. Another article about Mexican women farmworkers is in the November/December 2011 issue.

Américas Magazine published an article in their April, 2010 issue about a traditional art market in the San Angel neighborhood in Mexico City.  The market was a ten minute walk from my room.  www.americasmagazine.oas.org

Commonweal Magazine published a cover story I wrote about the agricultural crisis in Mexico, along with ten  images.  The magazine is available online at www.commonwealmagazine.org   Publication date was February 12, 2011.
